The inquest into the death of a retired headmistress whose body was found in her home earlier this month will open at Bradford Coroner’s Court today.
Louisa Denby, 84, was found at her house in Prospect Mount, Shipley, on July 1, by police who were investigating the stabbing of a nine-year-old boy.
The inquest is due to be opened in the court at 9.15am.
Mrs Denby’s grandson, Nathaniel Flynn, 26, has been charged with murder and attempted murder following her death and the attack on the boy, who now cannot be named for legal reasons.
Flynn, of Prospect Mount, Shipley, also faces charges of assaulting a 59-year-old man in Stanley Street, Bradford, and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is next due at Bradford Crown Court on Monday.
