A scooter rider suffered broken bones in a collision with a car in Bradford at about 5.15pm yesterday in Rooley Lane, between Tong Street and the M606.
Rooley Lane was closed in both directions until 6.18pm, said a police spokesman, causing lengthy traffic jams. Police said the rider suffered leg and shoulder injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
