School staff and students have been peddling the benefits of riding bikes.
Cycling charity Sustrans is working in Bradford to encourage children to cycle to school.
Titus Salt School pupils were visited by Barry Firth, of Firth Cycles, Queensbury, who checked bikes were safe and students received incentives such as free bike locks, bells and breakfast.
More than 60 students cycled to the school in Higher Coach Road, Baildon, during the week, with about 45 riding each day – ten times the number of children on a usual school day.
There were also cycling-themed activities during lunchtime, including a visit from the Extreme Mountain Bike Show stunt riders.
