A schoolboy cricketer has broken a 20-year batting record after scoring a total of 949 runs in a season.
Dylan Budge scored 101 not out and 153 not out in the final two day match of the season to set a new record at Woodhouse Grove in Apperley Bridge.
The school’s batting record was previously held by Andrew Bairstow, the older brother of Yorkshire and England cricketer Jonathan.
