A Bradford schoolgirl has braved the chop to donate her long locks to a child with cancer.
Hannah Kitson, a year five student at Reevy Hill Primary School, volunteered to have her ponytail cut off for the Little Princess Trust, which provides children with real-hair wigs and hair pieces following cancer treatment.
Pop signer Jessie J also donated her hair to the charity when she had her head shaved live on television during this year’s Comic Relief.
Hannah was watched by fellow pupils as she had her hair cut during the school’s summer fair this week.
