A Keighley school ‘old boy’ shared his experiences with young pupils thanks to an appeal to find the owners of some old school exercise books.
Stuart Maude was invited to join a lively session of Oakbank’s school science club.
The school had previously unearthed eight volumes which date from the 1940s and 50s.
They contain detailed science and chemistry work by students of the day, when the school was Keighley Boys’ Grammar. This work had been done as part of a contest to win a Sydney Dunnill Book Prize.
