A new Stanningley convenience store has celebrated its launch with a donation to the West Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre.
Michelle Wilman, principal at West Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre, which helps children with learning difficulties, was the guest of honour when the new Tesco Express store on Half Mile Lane opened.
As part of the opening celebrations, store manager, Laura Clarkson and her team presented Michelle with a cheque for £500.
She said: “We would like to thank Michelle for joining us for our launch celebrations.
" It was great to meet her and learn more about the invaluable work they do in Stanningley and surrounding areas.”
Michelle said: “I would like to thank Tesco for this generous donation, which will enable us to build a canopy to support outdoor learning and play.”
