A mum and daughter will take part in a 10k walk in memory of a family member who died four weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.
Rebecca Exley, and her 13-year-old daughter Aimee, of Idle, have signed up to Walk Ten at Harewood House on Saturday, August 10, and are urging others to join them.
Rebecca said: “My mum passed away in June 2012 at the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford, just four weeks after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
“The care my mother received from the hospice in her final days was excellent. The staff were all so supportive.”
Registration for the walk is £10 per person in advance or £20 on the night, with free entry for children under 16.
