Volunteers and staff at Otley’s Oxfam shop have raised nearly £1,700 to fund a clean water supply project for an overseas school.
Customers of the Boroughgate store also helped in an effort that spanned several months and involved knitting and sewing goods for sale and growing plants.
Manager Janet Harthen and the volunteers said they were grateful to everyone who contributed and helped them raise £1,670 for a scheme that would provide vital health benefits.
