Birkenshaw’s Emergency Services gala celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
Saturday’s event promises to be as popular as ever, with the emergency services demonstrating their skills amidst this fun-filled action-packed family event.
Visitors will be able to see specialist rescue situations along with demonstrations by the West Yorkshire Police Dogs and Yorkshire Ambulance Service’s Hazardous Area Response Team.
Freddy and Diddy Dennis, the mischievous water squirting fire engines, are back and young fans can climb aboard for a ride round the grounds. The miniature steam train will also be in action.
Entertainment will be provided by the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service bands and the majorettes.
Entry is £1 and free for under-fives. Gates open at noon.
