More than 100 primary pupils have been having fun at a three-day camp to make moving up to secondary school easier in September.
The HARmony Camp at Dixon's Allerton Academy put on dance workshops, music sessions, mask- making, arts and crafts and sports games for the Year six pupils who will be coming from feeder schools across the district.
Dixon's student engagement officer Caroline Taylor said: “We have got some of our older pupils who are our camp heroes and are running the whole event. The HAR in Harmony stands for honesty, awareness and responsibility – the three key messages we want to put across.”
