Award-winning businesswoman and Bradford Bulls director Kate Hardcastle is to help launch Sunday lunch with a difference at a Menston restaurant next month.

The 1875 Restaurant at Menston railway station is launching traditional Sunday lunch with an Indian twist in an event hosted by Kate, to be attended by local business figures and the media.

The event on August 11 is also part of the Customer at the Heart roadshow which was started by Kate and the team at Insight with Passion, which is supporting a group of Yorkshire and Lancashire businesses which have been chosen for trying something different.

The 1875 Restaurant was recently awarded a certificate of excellence from Tripadvisor based on customer reviews, and has had Michelin star-trained chef Vivek Singh Kashiwale on board since April. Next Monday he will launch the restaurant’s new a la carte menu at a live cookery demonstration at Ilkley Station.
