Silsden farmers Lisa and Marcus Preston will throw open the doors of their home to the public in aid of charity later this month.
They will host a Yorkshire Champagne afternoon tea on Wednesday, July 31, organised by members of the Dales and Bronte group of Farm Stay UK to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the national on-farm accommodation provider. Proceeds will go to the Richardson Suite cancer unit at Airedale Hospital, Steeton. Extra funds will be raised by the Jam Jar Army, a community-based fund-raising initiative that encourages people to save their loose change towards worthwhile causes.
Tickets, at £15 each, are available from Mrs Preston on (01535) 655228, e-mail lisa.preston@btconnect.com
