The Upstagers’ production of joyous and inspirational rock musical Children of Eden opens at Ilkley’s King’s Hall on Thursday. Written by Stephen Schwartz, writer of Wicked and Godspell, the musical is based on the book of Genesis. Children Of Eden is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous look at the age-old conflict between parents and children - Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel to Noah and the flood. Musical director, Phil Walsh, said: “This is one of the most challenging musicals I have conducted.”
Performances run tomorrow to Saturday at 7.15pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm. Tickets are £12 for adults, £8 for concessions and you can get one free ticket if you buy ten.
