The Exchange Arts Centre's second beer festival will also be Keighley's first gin festival.

Centre owner Jym Harris will lay on 20 types of gin as well as 20 real ales and several ciders and perries.

The gins have been created by micro-distilleries as part of a renaissance in British gin making.

Jym said: "Gin is becoming very popular. There are at least two distilleries in Yorkshire and we'll have drinks from both of them."

"The first beer festival went very well and we've had a lot of people asking us to bring it back."

The beer and gin festival will run on September 13-15 at the Exchange in Russell Street.

Fun band the Bar Steward Sons of Val Doonican will open the festival, and an open mic night will close it.
