Police in Bradford investigating reports that a car had its window smashed discovered a large amount of heroin in the boot.

Officers were called to Killinghall Road on Sunday, where a vehicle had been found with its rear window smashed.

A police spokesman said: “Due to the smell of cannabis coming from within the vehicle, the car was searched and a large amount of heroin has been recovered and a substantial amount of cannabis.

“Officers are appealing to the owners of the vehicle to come forward so we establish the facts about the broken window, and to query the drugs.”
