Locomotives from the West Country will be making tracks for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway this autumn.
A trio of engines from the Great Western Railway is visiting to take part in a steam spectacular, from October 11 to 13. Among them is Nunney Castle, which is making its first appearance at KWVR.
Enthusiasts will be treated to a passenger service alongside a demonstration freight using similar goods wagons to those which once served the Worth Valley’s mills.
Organiser Noel Hartley said: “This truly will be our event of the year, definitely not to be missed.
“It is for all the family, with model railways and rugged steam rollers also on display. There will even be a rare chance to climb aboard to see the controls of our steam engines, chat to the drivers and maybe blow the whistle.”
