A new group of “breastfeeding buddies” is celebrating after completing its training.
The seven women, who are now supporting mothers to breastfeed, attended a graduation celebration at the Dragons Den play centre in Keighley.
They had learned of the 12-week training course after gaining support from the Breastfeeding Buddies volunteers service, based at Keighley Healthy Living in Scott Street.
Support is offered to mothers at locations including children’s centres, in their homes, at Airedale Hospital’s post-natal ward and at a KHL breastfeeding drop-in on Tuesdays, from 10am to noon.
