An evening of entertainment in Sandbeds tomorrow will help boost the funds of a local hospice.

The Octagon Live will host the event in aid of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope.

The evening is being organised by the hosts, John Pennington of the Octagon Live and the group of Holy Family Catholic School, Lourdes 2000 and Brian Langford of the newly-formed Powell and Family Funeral Directors and Memorial Consultants.

The group recently took a pilgrimage of 90 adults and 60 pupils to Lourdes and their work will be celebrated during the evening.

Entry is free and the food and entertainment is being supplied, but guests are encouraged to bring some money to help raise funds through the raffle and the other fun events on the evening.

Anyone interested in reserving a place can contact Mr Langford on 01274 567110 or brian.langford @powellandfamily.co.uk.
