A student at St Mary’s School, Menston, has been fundraising for former student, Callum Hall.
Twenty-year-old Callum was diagnosed with an epidural abscess as a result of being stung by a sea urchin while on holiday last September. The abscess burst and damaged his spinal cord, causing him to be paralysed from the chest down.
Rhiannon Boardman heard of his plight and raised £150 for the Callum Hall Trust Fund by running 1.5 miles every day for a month. She was able to present a cheque to Callum when he presented the Jamie Payne-Ross Award at St Mary’s.
