Members of Ilkley’s All Saints’ Church youth groups and two of their leaders spent 24 hours going without food as a response to the ‘Enough Food for Everyone IF’ campaign.
They also made a huge ‘postcard’, signed by themselves and church members, which Sarah Lorimer and Jack Bacon presented to Ilkley MP Kris Hopkins, asking him to support the aims of the campaign.
The group raised £1,580, which will be split between Christian Aid and Tear Fund, two of the relief and development agencies the church supports.
