A concert billed as the biggest in Ilkley for years will raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The 70 players of the Leeds Symphony Orchestra and 60 singers from Cantores Olicanae will join forces in a choral and orchestral concert at 7.30pm on Friday in St Margaret’s Church.
Organisers say the concert will be the biggest – in terms of the number of performers – in Ilkley for many years.
It will mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation and will include pieces associated with coronations.
Tickets can be booked at Grove Music and at Ilkley Tourist Office. They will also be available at the door.
