Members of Airedale Hospital’s running group are flexing their muscles to join Silsden’s gala procession with a bed push to raise cash for Manorlands.
The Airedale Dodgers will be in fancy dress, and they will be joined by members of Airedale Hospital’s A&E team to help boost the fundraising total.
This is the second time they have taken part in the event. Last year the lively team raised about £1,500 through selling raffle tickets and cakes on a stall in the gala field. This year they hope to be supported by the local police and fire crew.
Silsden Gala takes place on Sunday, July 28 and the procession, which starts at 1pm, ends with a fun fair and a variety of stalls in Silsden Park.
