A day of action on asylum destitution was attended by more than 70 people.
The event in Centenary Square, Bradford, was part of a national network of similar gatherings to highlight the impact poverty has on the lives of asylum seekers.
The Bradford event was organised by Nigerian asylum seeker Harry Femi who told of his first hand experience of “appalling destitution”.
