Pupils in Shipley have made history at their school by netting a football prize.
St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School’s under 11s team of Louis Fialdini, Kieran Hamilton, James Young, Ben Stevens and Harvey Weston-Beyer has won the Bradford and Keighley Catholic Schools' Partnership five-a-side tournament for the first time.
The school qualified for the semi-finals after coming through the group stages unbeaten.
Head teacher Simon Gallacher said: “We won the final 2-0 and the boys were delighted to get their hands on the shield.
“For the smallest Catholic school in Bradford it was no mean feat!”
