QED-UK has become one of the few voluntary sector organisations to be awarded an international standard mark.
The International Organisation for Standardisation awarded the Bradford-based charity a ISO9001 Registered Trademark in recognition of the high quality of services QED deliver.
Dr Mohammed Ali, founder and chief executive of QED, said: “This demonstrates our commitment to providing the very best services for our learners and partners. It sets the standard that communities have come to expect over the years from QED.
“We feel as though our hard work on behalf of local minority ethnic communities is paying off. As well as recognising our work in Bradford and the region, it also covers our work in Pakistan.”
