Queensbury Neighbourhood Policing Team is urging motorists not to leave valuables on display after two vehicles were broken into on Manor Row and Union Road early on Sunday.
Both vehicles had property removed including a satellite navigation system, tools and a cheque book.
A police spokesman said on their Facebook page that drivers should be mindful when leaving valuables on display. Anybody with information about the thefts should call PCSO Paul Walker on (01274) 376668 or e-mail Paul.Walker1@westyorkshire. pnn.police.uk.
