People turned out to watch a rooftop drama unfold in Bradford early today when police were called to a burglary at what turned out to be a cannabis farm.
Two men had to be brought down from the roof of the end terrace house in Thryberg Street, Barkerend, shortly before 3am with the help of firefighters using a hydraulic ladder.
A police helicopter hovered above the house while dog handlers and other officers surrounded the property on the ground during the incident which started at about 12.50am.
In all five men, aged between 23 and 27, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of burglary and on suspicion of production of cannabis.
They remained in police custody today.
