A teenage university student, accused of dangerous driving would plead guilty to careless driving, Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday.
Prosecutor Richard Davies said Fahad Ali, 19, of Bradford Road, Shipley, was alleged to have driven at 60mph in a 20mph zone.
He said the Crown’s view was that it was dangerous driving. Ali’s barrister, Abdul Iqbal, said that his client would plead guilty to careless driving.
A provisional trial date was set by Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC for September 11, with a plea and case management hearing on August 22.
