A Pudsey church is hoping to tempt parishioners traditional afternoon tea served in the style of a Harrogate tearoom.
St James the Great on Galloway Lane is offering Traditional Afternoon Tea on Saturday, June 22, from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.
There will be the usual cream tea together with the best china and waitress service.
Teas will include Earl Grey and Darjeeling.
Parish Priest Fr Nicholas Clews said: “The people of Pudsey need a treat now and again and we would like to be the ones to offer it.
“We have asked the congregation to scour their cupboards for old-fashioned china tea services – and even if necessary to go hunting in the local charity shops.”
