A burglar who broke into a house – in breach of a suspended sentence for attempted burglary – has been jailed for three years.
Christopher Bower, 41, pictured, of Stoneacre Court, West Bowling, Bradford, admitted stealing a purse, containing a £20 note, bank cards and a driving licence, from a house in Bradford Road, Bradford, between March 30 and April 2 this year. He also pleaded guilty to going equipped for burglary, on April 1, with vice grips, gloves and two screwdrivers.
He was jailed for two years, by Judge Colin Burn at Bradford Crown Court yesterday for those offences, and given a further 12 months in prison for the original attempted burglary.
