Lion King mane-ia roars into Bradford today.
Tickets go on sale at 8am for what is one of the world’s most popular stage musicals, which is making its only Yorkshire stop at the city’s Alhambra theatre next year.
Queues were expected outside the theatre when its doors opened. Phone and on-line bookings open at 10am.
Adam Renton, general manager at Bradford Theatres, said the Lion King’s arrival at the Alhambra was a fitting tribute for the theatre’s 100th anniversary in 2014.
“It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the Alhambra’s centenary year.”
Disney’s The Lion King will run at the Alhambra from March 21 to May 10, 2014. The box office is on (01274) 432000 or lionking.co.uk.
