Two Keighley drug dealers imprisoned for possessing more than £10,000 of a party drug have been warned they have to pay back their ill gotten gains or return to prison.

Stephen Gott and Jason Barnes were each sentenced to 21 months in prison after admitting charges of possession with intent to supply. Police found 696.3 grams of Methylmethcathinone (MCAT), which has the street name of meow meow, in their Weston Street property in October 2010. The class B drugs they confiscated were valued at £10,444.50.

The pair have faced a confiscation hearing at Bradford Crown Court, where the courts forced them to give up money that police financial investigators had proved was gained through criminal means.

Gott, 33, of Arncliffe Place, was ordered to pay £6,208 within six months, or face another four months in prison, and Barnes, 36, of Rushy Fall Meadow, to pay £10,081 in six months or face another seven months.
