As part of Volunteers’ Week a hearing loss charity is urging people in the Bradford district to become more accessible to people with impairments by following its new guide.
Action on Hearing Loss is calling on voluntary groups in Bradford to follow the ‘Valuing volunteers with hearing loss’ guide which gives ways to overcome unnecessary barriers which could be preventing people with hearing loss from taking up volunteering opportunities.
The plea coincides with Volunteers Action Week, which began on Saturday and will run to Friday.
