A faulty microwave sparked a fire at a house in Bradford last night. The woman in the property on Allerton Road, Four Lane Ends, was preparing her tea at the time. Fire crews from Fairweather Green and Bradford stations were called to the house at 7.40pm. Watch commander Paul Austin, of Fairweather Green station, said the house’s kitchen suffered minor smoke damage.
