The Friends of Oakwell Hall are giving museum visitors the opportunity to get their ‘Hands on History’ and have a go at traditional crafts from noon until 5pm on Sunday at the hall in Nutter Lane, Birstall. Introductory talks on the history of the hall and its previous occupants, the Batt family, take place at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Call (01924) 326240 for more details.
