The M62 will be closed in both directions tonight between junctions 27 and 29. Diversion signs will be in place for the closure, which will be between 8pm tonight and 8am tomorrow. The closure is for installation of traffic monitoring equipment and bridge waterproofing works.
Eastbound traffic will be diverted along the M621 and M1, with westbound traffic following the same route in reverse. Local eastbound traffic will be able to join the motorway at junction 27 to access the local road network at junction 28.
