Bradford Cathedral’s organ restoration appeal will receive a further boost this month.
Since the appeal started in February, it has raised £14,000 towards the £250,000 appeal to refurbish the organ in time for the Cathedral’s centenary in 2019.
As well as donating proceeds from the lunchtime recitals and performances, the Cathedral is also asking people to sponsor one of the organ’s pipes.
The next fundraising event is on May 17 when the Bradford Cathedral Consort presents its first programme in its own right.
