Firefighters were called to a lorry blaze at Odsal Stadium, Bradford, early today.
The lorry was well alight when crews from Odsal and Bradford stations attended the scene at 4am.
Odsal crew commander Andy McCann said the lorry transported fairground equipment as part of a funfair and was parked on a car park off Stadium Road.
He said the fire, which did not spread to any nearby funfair rides, was caused by an electrical fault in the engine. No-one was injured.
