The Lord and Lady Mayoress of Bradford, Coun Dale Smith and his wife Margaret, helped Open House for Seniors celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The social group for older people was launched a decade ago at St George’s Hall in Bradford which remains its weekly venue.
It was opened on April 24, 2003, as a drop-in by former T&A journalist Mike Priestley.
During the years 2007 and 2008 more than 9,000 people dropped in.
