A suspected thief was arrested after being spotted by two Police Community Support Officers on patrol.
PCSOs Eric Austin and Val Soor detained the 38-year-old man in the City Ward on Sunday.
When the man, who was wanted for a number of theft offences, was taken into custody, officers found he was in possession of illegal drugs. He was charged with two offences.
