Cullingworth’s junior snapper Tilly Stothard has been booked to photograph one of Keighley Festival’s flagship events.
The 11-year-old photographer received her first commission from festival supremo Malcolm Hanson.
She will be on duty during the annual Red Kite Disco taking pictures of Braithwaite and Guard House children partying.
Mr Hanson invited Tilly after reading that she was setting up a career for herself as a photographer.
After photographing family gatherings she advertised around Cullingworth for commissions to take pictures during children’s parties.
He said: “It is always very pleasing to see such young entrepreneurs having a go – they make the world go round.”
This year’s Keighley Festival of Art, Sport, Music and Dance will run from July 6 to 12 with dozens of events.
