Yorkshire finalists have been announced for the Greenbuild Awards 2013 – including Bradford University for its Green Library Education and Environment.
The Greenbuild Awards 2013 recognises excellence in sustainable buildings, with a particular focus on projects that can illustrate an understanding of the importance of building performance in use.
This year saw some stiff competition and the judges had a hard task selecting a shortlist. After weeks of deliberation they have chosen the finalists and the winners will be announced at a dinner on May 8 at Manchester’s Midland Hotel during the Greenbuild Expo 2013. Yorkshire has two finalists. They are Church View, Henry Boot Construction, Sherburn North Yorkshire and GLEE - Green Library Education and Environment at Bradford University.
