Road safety chiefs in West Yorkshire have joined forces with counterparts across Yorkshire and Humber for a regional campaign aimed at keeping motorcyclists safe.
Motorcyclists come from around the country to enjoy some of the best riding routes available in this area.
But that brings increased risk and the region has seen a significant number of motorcyclists involved in collisions every year.
Publicity around the consequences of irresponsible riding and driving is helping and roadside education and enforcement operations will continue.
BikeSafe workshop sessions will be run along with rider information sessions during the summer months.
The partners, including Safer Roads West Yorkshire and West Yorkshire Police, will continue to target drivers through their Someone’s Son campaign which asks drivers to be on the look out for riders.
