A group from Huddersfield will be cycling through Ilkley, Haworth and Oxenhope to raise money for good causes in the area.
A team of cyclists from Huddersfield Town’s partner Total Foodservice are cycling 150 miles through West Yorkshire in May to raise money for the Huddersfield Town Foundation, which aims to help people from the area.
The first day of the “Pedals for Pounds” event on May 18 will start in Darrington and take in Pontefract, Boston Spa and Ilkley before the team of 12 stops at the YHA in Haworth.
The next day they start their second leg by cycling across Oxenhope Moor before heading back to the start point.
In the last three years the event has raised £10,000 for local charities.
