Masked quadbikers are tearing great ruts across open spaces above Windhill and Wrose and putting children at risk, warn local councillors.

Bradford Labour councillors Vanda Greenwood, Alex Ross-Shaw and Susan Hinchcliffe have called for action to protect the landscape and residents’ safety.

“It’s mainly quad bikes which are racing across rough open green space at the top of Wrose Brow Road,” said Coun Greenwood.

“And there could be a catastrophe because the route they take is right beside Windhill C of E Primary School.”

Several offenders have already been identified and been issued police warnings.
