A new sheltered housing complex of 51 apartments will be built after councillors gave the scheme a unanimous yes vote.
The Housing 21 extra care development, at Ellar Carr Road, Bradford, received 13 objections including ones about inadequate parking and the loss of trees.
But Bradford Council’s Regulatory and Appeal Committee heard the complex had been moved slightly in amended plans to save some trees and that new trees would be planted. There will be 25 parking places.
