The importance of Keighley’s various parks and woodlands on health will be discussed later this month.
Bradford Forest School Network has invited health and community professionals to the free event to learn about the impact of outdoor engagement on physical and mental health, and how to make the most of the area’s resources.
There will be a chance to try hands-on outdoor activities, including a campfire and outdoor crafts, and a discussion about what more can be done to get people active in the outdoors.
The session runs at Keighley Healthy Living on Scott Street from 1pm on March 28. For more information contact Annie Berrington on 07974 935105
