An inquest is due to resume in Bradford tomorrow into the deaths of two brothers who died after a car they were in struck a lamp-post then a tree.
Police have been investigating the incident, which happened on May 30 last year, just before midnight in Woodside Road, Wyke.
The victims were Private Sam Blowman, 27, of the 1st Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment and Christopher Blowman (above right), 31, both of Gracey Lane, Wibsey, who had been travelling in a Ford Focus.
A short time before the crash, the car had passed a police patrol car in Manchester Road, but failed to stop at the request of officers using blue lights.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said there had not been a pursuit and the car had gone out of sight.
