People living in the Ravenscliffe and Eccleshill areas of Bradford are being encouraged to get wise at two special community days.
The estate's Gateway Centre and Eccleshill Mechanics Institute are hosting the information and advice Get Wise days tomorrow and Thursday, March 28, respectively from 3pm to 5pm.
People attending will be able to find out all about recent changes to benefits and where to get help with debt and money issues.
A number of agencies will also be there including Bradford Credit Union who will be encouraging people to sign up for an account and claim their free £10 for Incommunities tenants.
Jade Ibegbuna, who is volunteer co-ordinator at the Gateway, said: “The café hopes to provide decent priced meals for local people at a time when people may be struggling to make ends meet. We have just recruited a Café Co-ordinator to help with the project.”
